Dermasilk Resurfacing products Dermasilk Resurfacing products contain glycolic acid, a naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acid. This substance has the ability to affect the surface of the skin, allowing dead layers to be shed without trauma, revealing the smoother, healthier skin beneath. The combination of Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid and Citric Acid increases the moisture content of the skin, improving texture and suppleness. Usage of Dermasilk products can be commenced with the 10% or 15% strengths, and can be gradually built up to stronger concentrations. Generally a concentration of 15% is required for serious resurfacing or acne control, but many people find lower concentrations perfectly adequate. Keturah Sun Protection Creme SPF 30+ , or similar sun protection, should be applied daily in conjunction with Dermasilk products. Mild stinging may occur with all Dermasilk products. |
